John -- I just finished our morning team check-in with Jacob and Shane. We were reviewing our ads budget for our first ad buy and our first ad spot thanks to the help of our wonderful TV folks. (I cannot wait to share the final cut with you.)
They asked me to follow up on my email from yesterday to let you know that we’re still working to hit tonight’s goal in order to power this critical television investment and get our ad in front of tens of thousands of voters in NY-01.
In the midst of a public health crisis, our citizens, essential workers, researchers, and medical professionals on the frontlines are dependent on representatives who will lead with science. In Congress, I will always make decisions in the interest of Suffolk County families and our country based on facts and evidence.
We know that when voters hear about my background as a scientist, we win -- but we need to cut through the noise to ensure they hear our message.

This ad is our best bet to get our message in front of tens of thousands of voters in New York’s First District. But as I’m sure you understand, just having a compelling TV commercial won’t do us any good if we can’t place it repeatedly in front of every voter we need to win.
