John,
Another poll confirmed this week that a majority of
Canadians want lower immigration.
According to Nanos, two
third of Canadians say the country should accept fewer immigrants next
year, while only 5% want more.
Wanting higher immigration has now become
an extremist position!
What we in the PPC have been advocating
for six years, and been vilified for, has finally become the widely
accepted view.
So much so that the Liberals have done
a major pivot and are now announcing new restrictions to immigration
programs every week.
But these are still only baby
steps.
For example, they’re reducing the number of visas for
international students.
But there will still be hundreds of thousands of
foreign students from India and elsewhere taking jobs that should go
to Canadian youths.
Most of them are not even
real students. They are simply using this program as a back door entry
to the country.
We not only need to drastically lower the
number of foreign students.
But they should also not be
allowed to work. That will keep the fake ones away.
You come here to study? Well, study, and then go
back to your country!
The same is true of the
so-called “temporary” foreign workers programme, which the Liberals
are also curtailing.
Most of these workers aren’t actually
temporary, it’s just another way to become a permanent resident.
We should
abolish the temporary foreign workers programme, not just reduce the
number of permits.
Apart from seasonal
agricultural workers, there is no need to have foreign workers.
Let businesses offer higher salaries and adapt. We shouldn’t
bail them out with foreign cheap labour.
John, we need bolder
immigration reform!
Abolish unnecessary programs,
impose a moratorium, deport the illegals.
We must
keep the pressure on the government and on the fake Conservatives, who
can’t be trusted to do anything after supporting the Liberals’ mass
immigration policies for years.
The People’s Party has been at
the forefront on this issue since its founding.
Without us, it
would still be taboo to talk about it.
John, help us
continue to fight for bolder immigration reform with a $25 donation
today!
Thank you,
-Max
