This summer, I spent time around NY-07 talking to constituents and working to improve the district. Throughout Brooklyn and Queens, my constituents are putting on events and advocating for their communities—and I am so pleased that I get to join them.
Most recently, I supported expanded affordable housing options for Cypress Hills, stood with Sunnyside tenants to demand a stop on evictions, supported community centers throughout the district, met with healthcare leaders to discuss challenges around Medicare and Medicaid, helped to upgrade workforce development programs, and celebrated the diversity of New York’s 7th District!
When I’m not spending my time in Washington, DC passing federal legislation, I love to immerse myself in my community. NY-07 is my top priority and I have been working for decades to see this district thrive. Now, I need your support.
