** Hello, Sister District DC-VA Volunteers!

Good news! We now have our first candidate of the cycle, Jonathan Kassa! Jonathan is running in Pennsylvania, and on Tuesday, May 12th, we'll be holding a fundraiser on Zoom to support him.

Times are hard for so many people right now, so if you’re able, please help us support this critical down-ballot race. We’re asking a minimum donation of $10 for each fundraiser attendee. Jonathan will be there, so you'll get to learn about his policies and his campaign.

We’re aiming to raise $5,000 for Jonathan, and we have dollar-for-dollar matches for the first $1,500 we raise—so if you donate soon, your donation will be doubled. One of our chapter members will also contribute 5% of the total to a local Pennsylvania food bank of Jon’s choice.

We only need to win four more seats to flip the Pennsylvania house blue, so we hope you’ll join us in supporting Jonathan. This race is personal to our Sister District chapter—in 2018 we supported Sara Johnson Rothman’s campaign in this same district, where the incumbent ran anti-Semitic ads against her, and she narrowly lost the race. Early money is important for candidates to hire staff, set up headquarters, and get their campaigns going. Your dollar can go very far in these state level races, so we hope to see you there!
