Happy first day of fall! There is a lot of change happening here in Iowa. The leaves are changing colors, and the air is getting cooler. But one thing that’s not changing: dirty GOP campaign tactics.
We just found out that my opponent is running attack ads on me, distorting my record and calling me a “radical liberal.”

Well, I’m writing to you today because I do have actual solutions. I’m running for re-election to make Iowa a leader in education again, by using public funding for our public schools and protecting our AEAs. I’m running to deliver a higher quality of life by providing paid family leave to working Iowans. And I’m running to protect our first responders by providing them the wages and benefits they deserve.
If you value actual solutions to our problems, then pitch in on this brisk first day of autumn so that we can ensure Iowa doesn’t fall even further backwards.
