Patriot, Did you see John’s note below? The war drums are beating. Ukraine is trying to drag America into war with Russia. The situation in the Middle East is more tense than ever, and the neocons also want war with China. The Biden-Harris foreign policy has been a complete and utter disaster, and with all of their woke policies being adopted by the military, recruitment has plummeted. The regime wants war, and they want our sons and daughters forced to fight it. But military recruitment is at the lowest levels in nearly a century. That’s why Congress is rushing to expand the military draft. The National Defense Authorization Act, being debated in Congress right now, might expand the draft to include women, make draft registration automatic, or both. Contact your U.S. Representative and Senators NOW and DEMAND they oppose ANY expansion of the military draft. They want to drag us off to war . . . for the wars they, in Washington, are so eager for. See the note from John below and tell your lawmakers to oppose any military draft expansion. For Liberty, Heather D. Director of Legislative Affairs Patriot, Congress will not meet at all in October, and they’ll be out most of November and December too, so they are scrambling to pass the 2025 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). And like we’ve seen year in and year out, many of our representatives will compromise away liberty all in the name of safety. The military industrial complex is surely turning up the heat (and probably with some donations to campaign coffers to sweeten the deal). By far the most odious provision in the NDAA is expanding the military draft to include women. Senate Democrats insisted the NDAA contain a provision to include American women in the military draft. It’s not hard to figure out why. The war drums are beating. Ukraine is trying to drag America into war with Russia. The Biden-Harris foreign policy has been a complete disaster, and with all of their woke policies being adopted by the military, recruitment has plummeted. The regime wants war, and they want our sons and daughters forced to fight it. And while the U.S. Senate-passed NDAA would draft women, the House-passed version would automatically register every male at age 18. The “compromise” should be killing both of these assaults on liberty. Unless lawmakers hear ferocious pushback from their constituents RIGHT NOW, the “compromise” more likely will be to pass both provisions. You and I defeated the inclusion of women in the draft before. We can do it again! Tell your representative and senators right now: NO military draft expansion in any form! This issue is getting exposure on the campaign trail around the country. For instance, Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate in Nevada, Sam Brown, is going after Sen. Jacky Rosen (D-NV) for supporting drafting women. Sam Brown and his wife Amy both served in the U.S. military, and his face was disfigured by an IED explosion when he was in combat. “Look at my face. This is the high cost of war. Amy and I volunteered to serve, and we honor all who serve. But forcing America’s daughters to register for the draft is UNACCEPTABLE. Shame on Jacky Rosen,” he posted to X. This is an extremely powerful testimony. But a universal military draft is a threat to all Americans, not just Nevadans, and every member of Congress needs to hear our outrage. The war
machine should never have unfettered access to any American citizen, male OR female. Contact your U.S. Representative and Senators NOW! Patriot, Ron Paul put it best: “The draft, whether for military purposes or some form of 'national
service,' violates the basic moral principles of individual liberty upon which this country was founded.” Simply put, the draft is a form of slavery: slavery to war. If that isn’t a call to action, nothing is. Take one moment to contact your U.S. Senators and Representative and tell them America’s children and grandchildren aren’t their property. After you sign, please forward this message to fellow patriots. And then, if possible, please support Campaign for Liberty’s work with a contribution. Your gift of $10 or $100 or $1,000 or something in-between will help us fight this battle. The war drums are beating . . . you and I must raise our voice in opposition right now, while the NDAA is still in play. When Congress attempts to sneak these liberty-stealing schemes under the radar, a big public outcry is often enough to get them to back down. You and I have defeated this issue for the past several years. We can do it again. We need to continue the fight, even in the heat of election season because the forces of tyranny will never just go away. Whether you can make a contribution of $50, $100, $200, $500, or whatever you can afford, any contribution helps us reach and mobilize more people. For Liberty, John McCardell Executive Director P.S. The statists in Washington want to drag you, your kids, and your grandkids off to war. And they thought we wouldn’t notice when they slipped automatic draft registration into the National Defense Authorization Act. Prove them wrong and send your directive to OPPOSE the military draft and instead RESTORE our constitutional rights in the NDAA!
