Just across the border in Maryland, a Senate race is unfolding that will shape the future of our country. Angela Alsobrooks and Larry Hogan are locked in a dead heat — so close that election experts are saying it could decide whether Mitch McConnell and the GOP take control of the Senate.

Angela Alsobrooks is exactly the kind of leader we need in the Senate. As the executive of Prince George’s County, she’s spent her career standing up for working families and ensuring our government works for the people it serves.
