Well, John, it’s officially the last day of summer.
We’ve been focused on November’s existential election, with so many state-level races that are must-wins for democracy. But fall also brings with it a new term of Supreme Court oral arguments.
A recent poll found that as many as seven in 10 Americans think that the U.S. Supreme Court justices are driven by ideology. That’s a significant amount of folks disappointed in the status quo. Thankfully, President Biden has a bold new plan to reform the Supreme Court and protect the rule of law:

A.G. Holder, who has long championed similar reforms to strengthen the Supreme Court, said: “These proposals will ensure justices bend less to partisan winds and special interests and move toward a fair evaluation of the law.”
President Biden’s plan is a HUGE step forward, John. Join A.G. Holder and add your name to say you support SCOTUS reform. [[link removed]]
This Supreme Court has already scheduled nine arguments for the month of October alone, and even more arguments scheduled through April. These rulings will have a real, tangible impact on our lives. With the public losing faith in the high court’s impartiality and authority, SCOTUS reform is needed — and urgent. Say you’re willing to help make it happen:
