John,
I’ve seen my fair share of sore losers after elections. But we’re now facing something more dangerous: a sore loser before the election even happens.
Former President Donald Trump recently claimed in St. Cloud that he would only lose Minnesota "if they cheat." It’s a part of a broader strategy to undermine public trust in the election before a single vote has been cast.
Let me be clear: It’s okay to demand election integrity, and to criticize the election system, but it’s dangerous to suggest in advance that defeat, if it comes, will be the product of a criminal scheme.
Disinformation is the real threat, and it’s already spreading. We need to fight back now before our last quarterly fundraising deadline of the election. Will you please chip in $10 or more to help us push back against these dangerous claims before it’s too late?
Thank you for standing with us.
Steve
