Fuchsia gasped for air. This sweet terrier had an advanced form of heartworm disease and suffered from congestive heart failure.
Without proper medical care, Fuchsia was not going to make it. Thankfully, PAWS Chicago had the resources to rush Fuchsia to a cardiac specialist and get her into emergency surgery.
