Our Missed Birthdays installation has ended - but our work has only just begun
Our Missed Birthdays installation has come to a close and it’s been brilliant to see the conversations it’s started and the impact it’s already having. Thanks for coming down to the installation. Thanks for talking about the campaign. Thanks for sharing your stories. The installation may have ended but our work has only just really begun. We know that ending youth suicide will take the work of so many of us.

Life-saver with a capital L
What does it take to run between the capital cities of Great Britain and Ireland? Well, today Ambassador Jonny Davies will find out. He’s been running for 11 days and finishes up the 560 mile epic adventure in London after already making it to Edinburgh, Belfast, Dublin and Cardiff - all to raise money for our life-saving services.

Faithful to the cause
Another ambassador who took on a life-saving challenge is Wilfred Webster. The star of The Traitors walked 291 miles with his good friend Ivan Brett from London to Liverpool to kick-start a much-needed conversation about suicide in the UK and raise awareness for our life-saving work. It was an incredibly emotional journey - with chats, tears and blisters.

When Tracey Boxall lost her son Alex to suicide in November 2019 she decided she wanted to help others who might be suffering too. And she has made a life-saving difference. She shared Alex’s story for our Last Photo and Missed Birthdays campaigns. She’s been a brilliant advocate for CALM and the work we do. And she’s also been an out-of-this-world fundraiser.
In fact, she’s been so brilliant that she was nominated for an award! Tracey was in the final for the BBC Radio Wiltshire Make a Difference Award. Thanks for your incredible support, Tracey!
