I’m reaching out today to ask if you can donate $5 to help Andrea Salinas defeat her MAGA opponent here in OR-06 — a toss-up district that could decide control of the House, and where polling shows a statistical dead heat.

I also know that it can be hard to tell in concrete terms where exactly your money goes when you donate it to a political campaign. So I wanted to give you a little more detail about how we’ll put your hard-earned money to good use:

• Digital ads sharing Andrea’s positive vision. Even just $5 helps us show our ad to hundreds of voters in the district we couldn’t otherwise reach.
   
• Specialized GOTV software. Your contribution helps us run a GOTV program that’s data-driven and state-of-the-art — so that we’re deploying our limited resources as efficiently as possible.
   
• Postage. This might be surprising, but we still rely on mail to reach lots of voters in this district, share Andrea’s message, and remind folks how to vote. Your donation helps us reach a few more people this way — and in a race this close, that makes a huge difference.
   
• Coffee. We can never have enough. As we get closer to Election Day, this gets more and more essential.
