My team just showed me the birthday card they organized for me along with all the well wishes from supporters like you. I was so touched to hear from so many of you, and I just had to send a quick note to say thank you.

It was nice to be able to celebrate today, but tomorrow it’s back to work to secure economic, racial, and social justice for everyone. I couldn’t be happier to know so many of you are with me in this fight.

Speaking of the work, when I told my team I was sending this note, they told me I had to mention our end-of-quarter fundraising goal. We’re about $15,000 away and early voting is in less than a month, so please pitch in now if you can.
