Animal agriculture representatives are urging the government to step in with financial support for their struggling industries, due to the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic. Rather than propping up these damaging industries, it is vital that support is given to help farmers transition to safer, kinder and more sustainable plant-based agriculture or into other sustainable forms of land management.
