The Chamber received many noteworthy submissions this year, ensuring a highly competitive selection process. The winners will be announced at the Best Business Awards, which has been postponed until the fall due to COVID-19. The Arlington Chamber of Commerce and Arlington Economic Development (AED) BizLaunch are co-hosting a free webinar on Tuesday, May 5 from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. covering Arlington’s Small Business Emergency GRANT Program.

Funding for the $1.2 million program is coming from existing AED FY2020 budget with additional contributions from the Industrial Development Authority (IDA) as well as the Rosslyn and Crystal City BIDs. Support Chamber member nonprofits and other local nonprofits on Tuesday, May 5 through Giving Tuesday! People can show their generosity in a variety of ways on #GivingTuesdayNow–whether it’s helping a neighbor, advocating for an issue, sharing a skill, or giving to causes, every act of generosity counts. The movement is currently focused on opportunities to give back to communities and causes in safe ways that allow for social connection and kindness even while practicing social distancing.
