GivingTuesdayNow and
STOP THE BLEED®!
The Coalition has joined the Department of Defense, the American College of Surgeons, the American College of Emergency Physicians and many other organizations across the country to support National STOP THE BLEED® Day - May 21, 2020. We hope you'll join in and help  spread awareness of the importance of STOP THE BLEED®. The Coalition is supporting some terrific #NSTBD20 programs, including the STOP THE BLEED®  Training Kit Grant and Scholarship Programs!

Tomorrow is #GivingTuesdayNow!

As you know, the STOP THE BLEED® community gives by  volunteering time. Teaching others to save lives. Nurses, EMTs, doctors, medics, and others volunteer their time to train people to STOP THE BLEED®. It also includes everyone who takes the time to learn to save a life. That's anybody and everybody who takes a STOP THE BLEED® class so they are prepared if the time to use their training ever comes.

With many in our community saving lives on the front lines of the coronavirus crisis, and in-person training cancelled pursuant to guidance by the CDC, we shifted the focus of the planned National STOP THE BLEED® Day project activities.

In the spirit of #GivingTuesdayNow, we are asking you to volunteer some time to help our community and the STOP THE BLEED® mission by doing these 3 simple things.

Scholarship awardees will still be announced on National STOP THE BLEED® Day - May 21, 2020.

We wish safety and good health to the STOP THE BLEED® community, and thank those on the front lines.

We appreciate and share your passion about educating and advocating for access to Stop the Bleed training and equipment.  We will continue to provide updates related to coalition activities.

Best Regards Always,
