The truth is that the outcome of Texas' Senate race will impact Americans all over the country, not just those in the Lone Star State. Sen. Cornyn's votes have consistently put his special interest and corporate PAC donors ahead of hard-working families across the nation.

He voted 20 times to repeal the Affordable Care Act, and even during a public health crisis, he's refusing to oppose a lawsuit that could strike down the entire law -- including essential protections for people with pre-existing conditions. He's also put the NRA ahead of the safety of our communities, refusing to support even the most basic gun safety measures.

The good news is we can defeat him this November. The Hill wrote that Sen. Cornyn is facing his "toughest race yet," and The Washington Post named Texas' Senate seat as one of the top 10 most likely to flip.
