Hi John,
There’s a lot to be excited about with Wisconsin’s new voting maps. Districts in all parts of the state will now see close races, where candidates’ commitments to the conservation values we share could make the difference on election day.
We’ve analyzed the new maps and identified 12 competitive Assembly districts that a pro-conservation candidate can win with strong investment in the proven voter turnout tactics that Wisconsin Conservation Voters has become known for.
Those 12 districts, along with 41 seats that are likely safe for pro-conservation candidates, will give us as many as 53 winnable districts. A majority in the Assembly is 50!
Only half of the Senate seats are up this year, so winning a 17-seat majority will take two election cycles – but we have to start now by electing leaders in five newly competitive Senate districts that are on the ballot in November. And we’ll have to keep up our efforts through 2026 to win the remaining Senate seats and keep a pro-conservation governor in the Capitol.
Conservation voters must take advantage of this moment. Your gift – and impact – will be TRIPLED to lay the foundation for a pro-conservation, pro-democracy trifecta in Wisconsin.
Your generous support during the month of September will be matched not once, but TWICE — going THREE TIMES AS FAR to help us elect an Assembly majority that will stand up for safe drinking water and a clean energy future for everyone who calls Wisconsin home!
This is our moment. With you by our side, I know we can win a stronger, healthier future for Wisconsin. |
