Hi, friend, it's Sherrod. I know I say this a lot, but it's important:

Our race is the key to defending our Democratic majority in the Senate. In a minute, I'm going to ask you to donate to help us keep the Senate blue, but click here if you want to chip in five bucks right now to split between my campaign and iVote Fund. I'm grateful for whatever you can spare. [[link removed]]

Here's the truth, friend: Campaigns are expensive. We need to open field offices, buy ad time, hire staff, train volunteers, print yard signs – you name it – to get our pro-worker message directly to folks all across Ohio.

I honestly wish money wasn't such a huge factor in this campaign, but MAGA Republicans and their billionaire megadonors are spending more money to defeat me in Ohio than in any other Senate race in the country.

We can't afford to be outspent and drowned out, folks. That's why I'm reaching out to this grassroots team for help. We rely on the supporters who read these emails to each chip in – because, collectively, we can make a BIG difference.

I'm counting on you, friend. We're short of where we need to be to stay on track to meet our urgent midnight goal. Will you give $5 – or our average grassroots donation of $26 – to split between my campaign and iVote Fund to help us win in Ohio, stop JD Vance and Bernie Moreno, and keep the Senate blue? Thank you for helping keep the Senate blue,

Sherrod

P.S. A quick reminder that JD Vance and Bernie Moreno want to ban abortion nationwide, eliminate Social Security and Medicare, and cut taxes for their billionaire buddies.

iVote was created in 2014 with one goal: secure voting rights for all Americans.

Rather than take on challenges in the court after unfair laws have passed, iVote plays defense on voter suppression efforts AND goes on offense to secure and expand access to voting.

Going on offense is critical. We have the chance to elect Secretaries of State that will protect our elections for years to come. But Republicans are already suppressing and blocking certain citizens from exercising their fundamental right to vote.

We need a massive coalition to register new voters and protect our right to vote in this election and beyond.

We know you get a lot of emails, but it's only because this fight is so important. We need you to stick with us long term. But if you must go, you can unsubscribe.
