Earlier this week, my opponent and National Republicans launched a massive, $267,000 ad campaign currently running on TVs across our major broadcast markets. This is in addition to the large purchase from dark money, special interest groups that are already running.

Here's the truth:

Republicans have no record to speak of when it comes to delivering for IL-17. So their plan is to spread falsehoods and distract from their real, extremist agenda: raise taxes on the middle class and move local jobs overseas, double down on ignoring climate change, nationalize an abortion ban, and (literally) bring an end to Medicare and Social Security.

But this race is going to be very competitive. In fact, it’s the only competitive race in Illinois, and an unprecedented amount of cash flooding in could tip the balance. So with that, I have to ask:

This super PAC’s unexpected TV attack campaign means we've had to stretch our end-of-quarter goal – our final before the election – to $15,000 in online contributions. Can you please chip in $5 before midnight to make sure we can defend the 17th District?
