Help Deployed Service Members This Flu Season!
Looking for a way to support our men and women in uniform? Adopting a deployed Service Member is a powerful way to show you care! When you adopt, you'll send care packages and letters that lift spirits and promote well-being.
Especially during flu season, care packages filled with health essentials like hand sanitizers, immune boosters, warm socks, and comforting foods can make all the difference. These thoughtful items help Service Members stay healthy or recover quickly and provide the comforts of home no matter where they are located!
Here are some additional ideas to make a healthful impact in a care package:
Health Essentials: Include items like hand sanitizers, disinfecting wipes, and face masks. These can be incredibly useful in preventing the spread of germs in close quarters.Vitamin Boosters: Vitamin C supplements, multivitamins, and immune-boosting teas can help Service Members stay healthy and fend off illness.Comfort Foods: Think about sending dry soup packets or broth packets, herbal teas, and honey. These are not only comforting but can also soothe a sore throat or provide a quick pick-me-up.Hydration Help: Electrolyte packets or powders are great for staying hydrated, especially if they’re feeling under the weather.Warmth and Comfort: Consider adding items like warm socks, beanies, or even a cozy blanket. Keeping warm can be a challenge in some environments, and these items add a layer of comfort.Soothing Remedies: Items like cough drops, throat lozenges, and nasal sprays can be invaluable when dealing with cold or flu symptoms.Personal Touch: Don’t forget to include a handwritten note or a personal message. Words of encouragement and support can be just as healing as any care package item.
Over 200 deployed Service Members are waiting for your support—register as a Soldiers' Angels volunteer today to bring comfort from home during their deployment!

Celebrating One Year of Supporting Veterans in Dallas!
On September 13, the Soldiers' Angels Dallas team marked the first anniversary of their Military and Veteran Food Distribution event. Over the past year, they've distributed 160,000+ lbs. of food to more than 1,700 Veterans, thanks to dedicated volunteers and sponsors like Energy Transfer.
At the anniversary event, nearly 50 volunteers from AT&T, Southwest Airlines, Children’s Hospital, and more came together to ensure every Veteran received over 70 lbs. of food. Texas Rangers Step Up to the Plate for Service Members and Veterans
A huge thank you to the Texas Rangers for their generous donation of 200 tickets for Service Members and Veterans in the Dallas area! With the help of our incredible local partners—American G.I. Forum, Wounded Warrior Project, 30 Talk Cares, and American Legion Post #597—we were able to distribute these tickets to Veterans and active duty Service Members, ensuring they could enjoy a fantastic day at the ballpark.
