An Interview with
U.S. Congressman Jody Hice

Eagle Forum has been busy providing you up-to-date information on the federal steps taken in response to the global spread of COVID-19. From the Democratic “pork” in the Coronavirus supplementals to letting you know how the President is responding administratively, our Capitol Hill Reports and legislative action alerts are great resources to stay informed. The news is often contradictory and it’s hard to get a real account on what is actually happening inside the halls of Congress.

With this in mind, we decided to do a two-part series on the Coronavirus and its economic impact. In our first episode, we were privileged to interview Congressman Jody Hice of Georgia’s 10th District. Congressman Hice has been in office since 2015 and has dedicated his time in office to protecting freedom and the Constitution. He provides context in how the legislation relating to the Coronavirus passed, the catch 22 of voting and not voting for the legislation, the consequences of billion-dollar spending, and his hopes for the outcome.

Please be sure to subscribe to Engage with Eagle Forum so you don’t miss the continuation of Coronanomics where we have an in-depth discussion on the economic consequences of shutting down the economy and the grassroots response to doing so. You can listen to the episode on our website, Google Play, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify. Please also consider leaving a rating and review. To further Engage, follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

In part one of our series on the economic impact of the Coronavirus, hosts Glyn McKay and Kirsten Hasler interview U.S. Representative Jody Hice (R-GA) on the workings of Congress and the consequences of the Coronavirus supplemental relief legislation.
