Just recently, Mike Johnson stated he’s “100% convinced” the GOP will be able to hold the House and flip the White House and Senate. He believes the GOP has their messaging down, their top picks in candidates, and the money to drown out their opposition.

We’d like to tell you Mike Johnson is totally wrong, but in reality, our race in PA-08 is way too close for comfort.

Mike Johnson DOES have his hand-picked candidate in our race. He’s even paid our district a visit to rally the GOP base and said our opponent is exactly the type of person they need in Congress to continue the GOP’s reign of chaos.

And Mike Johnson DOES have enough money to drown us out. He’s transferred millions to the National Republican Campaign Committee (NRCC), which is targeting us with ads. The Congressional Leadership Fund – a super PAC aligned with Mike Johnson himself – is now spending almost double the amount of money they were spending at this point last cycle to spread misinformation about Matt’s record to northeastern Pennsylvanians.

But he doesn’t have a grassroots team as powerful as this one. Matt has won his elections because when he goes to Washington, he’s fighting for real solutions for the people he represents. Matt isn’t in the pocket of special interests, and he isn’t out to fight for an agenda that doesn’t align with the people of northeastern Pennsylvania. He’s in this for you, and only you.

We know the White House, Senate, and the House will all come down to what happens here in Pennsylvania, so it’s on us to ensure Mike Johnson doesn’t gain any ground in PA-08 and across the state. Will you chip in to prove Mike Johnson wrong by funding our efforts to reelect Matt and keep PA-08 blue?
