I’m sorry to reach out so early on a Saturday, but this update couldn’t wait.

Three recent polls show me statistically tied with Eric Hovde. Compared to other Senate races, Wisconsin is often the closest race being polled.

As this race tightens up, Republicans are unleashing nasty attack ads against me to tilt the scales in their favor and flip this seat red.

If we don’t reach our fundraising goals, we may have to pull back our ads or stop making new reservations, losing crucial opportunities to connect with voters — decisions we cannot afford to make this close to Election Day.

It’s not as easy for me as it is for my megamillionaire opponent, who can self-fund his campaign to the tune of $13 million with the stroke of a pen. That’s why I’m coming to you today.

I’m humbly asking: Will you chip in to help us get our grassroots fundraising back on track so we can defend Wisconsin’s battleground Senate seat?
