Weekend Reading
Hi John,
Over the past three years, AFSC has tirelessly worked to evacuate former staff and their families from Afghanistan following the U.S. withdrawal. Many were at risk because of their involvement with an American organization and supporting democratic causes in their country. Today, we’re happy to report that we have successfully evacuated 65 of our former colleagues and their families to Pakistan! One of them was Maryam Amini. Read her story of survival, hope, and new beginnings. [link removed]
