The Roundup is a weekly production of the Tarrant County GOP to bring you the latest headlines on conservative victories, upcoming events, and opportunities to make a difference in Tarrant County.

DONATE NOW to give us the resources to win in November

RPT Day of Action

Today at the Tarrant County GOP headquarters, Republican Party of Texas Chairman Abraham George and Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne are holding a Day of Action! We hope to see you there. If the event has passed already when you read this, you can still get involved! If you would like to knock doors, contact Sam Mayfield to get set up to do that:

Another option to get involved is to join Trump Force 47. As part of Trump Force 47, which is from the Trump Campaign, you will be assigned voters in your area that President Trump needs to vote in November. Your goal is to contact them and to stay in touch through November, making sure they are registered to vote, ready to vote, and to make sure they get to the polls!

You can sign up and do your part to elect President Trump and all our Republicans in Tarrant County by clicking HERE.

In these final days before the election, it's crucial that everyone does their part to get Republicans elected. If everyone that reads this email or interacts with the Party in some way knocked 50 doors each week, the Democrats would have no chance!

There are many ways to help win in November, whether it's Trump Force 47 or knocking doors and making calls. There's something for everyone!

If you aren't sure how best to get involved, reply directly to this email, and we can find a way for you to get involved.

Trump Surrogate Nick Adams

We are hosting an event with Trump Surrogate Nick Adams on October 7th!

Nick is returning to Fort Worth for an event benefitting the Tarrant County GOP. All attendees will receive a copy of his new book, and VIP attendees will have an opportunity for a meet-and-greet with Nick as well.

The event will be 6pm on October 7th. You can get tickets using the button below!

Speaker's Race Update

Yesterday, a group of nearly 50 state representatives and nominees met in Austin to rally behind a Republican candidate for Speaker of the House who will oppose liberal Dade Phelan. In the meeting, they voted until one candidate was chosen to rally behind.

Our own Tarrant County representative, David Cook, won the vote! The other Republican Speaker candidates running against Phelan - Shelby Slawson, Tom Oliverson, John Smithee, and James Frank - issued a joint statement endorsing Rep. Cook.

Chairman French also released a statement encouraging conservatives to rally around our Tarrant County representative. If Rep. Cook is elected as Speaker in January, change will come to the Texas House.

For a deeper dive into the Speaker's race and Rep. Cook's Speaker campaign, you can read the report from Texas Scorecard HERE.

O'Hare Lowers Taxes AGAIN!

Yet again, County Judge Tim O'Hare has lowered taxes for Tarrant County residents. As the graphic above notes, both the county tax rate and the hospital district rate have been set below No New Revenue, with the overall county budget going down by $50 million dollars for the year.

This is not the first year O'Hare has lowered both the county budget and the tax rate. Even with the State providing some property tax relief, the counties set tax rates as well - and O'Hare has made it clear that Tarrant County will continue to lower taxes and be a safe haven both for families and businesses.

With Tim O'Hare at the helm, it's clear there's no better place to live than Tarrant County!
