Our democracy is under siege. With dark money flowing like never before, corporations and billionaires are drowning out the voices of working people. They’re rigging the system so that their chosen candidates win, while the rest of us are left behind.
It’s a rigged game, and Citizens United has made it worse. This disastrous Supreme Court decision opened the floodgates for unlimited spending by the ultra-wealthy, and now they’re buying our elections.
In the 2022 midterms, just 15 billionaire families accounted for nearly two-thirds of all political donations. That’s $1 billion from the ultra-rich to push their self-serving agendas. Compare that to 2010, and the numbers are staggering, campaign spending by billionaires has increased by 300%.
But it doesn’t have to be this way. We have the power to fight back. By passing the Democracy for All Amendment, we can overturn Citizens United, rein in campaign spending, and put the brakes on dark money.

Our democracy shouldn’t be for sale. For too long, billionaires have had their way, buying off elections and putting their interests above ours. These few elites are manipulating our system for their gain, and it’s working. They’ve bought off our elections, making sure that candidates who cater to their interests win.
By overturning Citizens United, this Democracy for All Amendment will rein in corporate spending, clarify that corporations are not people, and empower states to implement public campaign financing systems. If passed, it will end the grip of dark money and return power to the people, ensuring that elections reflect the will of voters—not wealthy elites.
But we can fight back and send a clear message that dark money has no place in our democracy. The Democracy for All Amendment is our chance to overturn Citizens United and take back control. We need to act now before it’s too late.
