Below you will find a strong, national endorsement of our campaign.
For months, our team has had boots on the ground, waving signs, walking in parades, and distributing literature with my common-sense message. My wife April and I have canvassed the five-county-wide district many times over, talking with people, listening to their concerns, and working to understand the needs and strengths of each unique community.
YOU have been a big part of our organization through your encouragement, donations, and volunteering. Thank you. Please read today's press release below.
PRESS RELEASE - September 20, 2024
HAGERSTOWN, MD—Today, Neil Parrott’s campaign announced his selection as a member of the National Republican Congressional Committee's prestigious Young Guns program. This program identifies and supports strong Republican candidates who are running competitive races for Congress.
"Being named to the NRCC Young Guns program is a tremendous honor," said Neil Parrott. "As a problem solver, engineer, and past Delegate, I work to find practical solutions to the challenges we face—from protecting our constitutional rights to creating economic opportunities for families. I am eager to bring common-sense solutions to Washington.
Parrott went on to say that, “With the support of the NRCC and this outstanding program, as a result of recent polling and the voters we are talking with throughout the district, my volunteers and I feel the momentum growing to make positive changes for our country and to bring a practical engineer to DC.”
The NRCC Young Guns program highlights candidates whose campaigns have strength, organization, and the commitment necessary to win tough races and ensure Republican victories nationwide.
Neil Parrott, a devoted husband, father of three, business owner, and engineer, is deeply connected to the community and understands the challenges facing Maryland families. He is running a highly competitive race in Maryland’s 6th District, with recent public polling showing him leading Biden-Harris appointee April Delaney. His inclusion in the Young Guns program underscores the growing momentum and strength of his campaign.
Parrott represented Washington County in the Maryland House of Delegates from 2011 to 2023. The 6th Congressional District includes all of Washington, Allegany, Frederick and Garrett counties, as well as the northern portion of Montgomery County.
