John,
It’s been 23 days since the Circuit Court for St. Louis County, Missouri, denied the motion to vacate Marcellus Williams’ conviction and death sentence.
Despite the office of Prosecuting Attorney Wesley Bell admitting that the prior administration had committed constitutional errors in his case, the Missouri Supreme Court is moving forward with the Sept. 24 execution date.
“The decision of a prosecutor to move to vacate a murder conviction and death sentence is not done lightly. Prosecuting Attorney Bell filed a motion because there is overwhelming evidence that Marcellus Williams’ trial was constitutionally unfair.”
— Tricia Rojo Bushnell, attorney for Marcellus Williams
Marcellus Williams has never had a fair shot at justice. And now because of that, he is scheduled to be executed.
John, we only have FOUR days to stop Missouri from making an irreversible mistake. So please: Will you urge Gov. Parson to intervene and spare Marcellus' life? Call, email, and tweet at the governor NOW before it’s too late:
