Join Our Speakers and 'Special Guests' Outside the Labour Party Conference
Austerity Is A Political Choice: Tax The Rich
Sunday 22nd September (outside on the concourse of the ACC Liverpool, Kings Dock, L3 4FP)

Join us this Sunday in Liverpool to tell the Prime Minister, Sir 'Kid Starver,' and the Chancellor, 'Rachel Thieves,' that we won’t accept any more cuts or austerity. They will be with us in person - or our version of them will be, anyway, along with some other 'guests!'
We also have a range of speakers, including:
- Fran Heathcote (General Secretary, PCS)
- Phil Clarke (President, NEU)
- Jo Grady (General Secretary, UCU)
- Felicity Dowling (Keep Our NHS Public)
- Alan Gibbons (Liverpool Independents)
- Steph Pike (Stop the War Coalition)
- Weyman Bennett (Stand Up To Racism)
It's crucial we start building our movement and resistance to continued austerity. There's plenty of wealth being created in this country (and its by the workers). Unfortunately, we're not getting a fair share of that wealth. But there is a political alternative that would benefit the majority of us and not just the wealthy few. So join us in our demand to the government to Tax The Rich and End Austerity!
Tax the Rich - No To Cuts - No To Privatisation - No To Racism - Fund Our Services & Communities - Rebuild Broken Britain

Join the People's Assembly
Councils going bankrupt; huge housing crisis; privatisation & marketisation wrecking the NHS, public services, transport & education - and the energy companies are ripping us off. We’re building again, because we have to.

"This Charter restates the case for humanity, equality, justice and peace. I hope it can play a unifying role, in bringing people together who believe we can do better than the pernicious, degrading and damaging politics of the moment."
- read about the People's Assembly's People's Charter 2024 in Ben Sellers' piece in the Morning Star. Ben is National Secretary of the People's Assembly.
