John,

My opponent for Attorney General is Dan Bishop. You know him already as the author of HB2, the “bathroom bill,” and one of the most extreme members of Congress.

He’s also one of Mark Robinson’s closest supporters. He says he wants to be Attorney General to be Mark Robinson’s “sidekick.”

Let Bishop tell you in his own words what he thinks about Robinson:

“I'm a big fan of Mark Robinson. I endorsed him out of the gate and he and I are very close friends.”

“I know that the AG's position in North Carolina, as I've said, might be more important than governor. It's essential to have Mark Robinson with a sidekick.”

Robinson “demonstrated himself to be a thoughtful and learned student of history, and he brought a fresh perspective.”

“He is without exception the most formidable candidate I’ve ever seen in North Carolina and now he’s ready to become Governor.”

“I’m with Mark Robinson. More than ever. And all the way to the end.”

You can watch Dan Bishop in his own words here:

Dan Bishop should never be in charge of the North Carolina Department of Justice.

If you can help support our campaign to make sure that we have an Attorney General who wants to serve you - not extremist politics - please chip in here.

Thank you for everything.
