Have you been reading the Iowa Poll? Today brought some more great news. Iowa Democrats are more fired up than ever to elect Kamala Harris in November. Our enthusiasm is through the roof at 80 percent, up from 45 percent in June. |
Some more good news is that Kamala Harris has narrowed the gap with Donald Trump! According to a poll done by Selzer & Co., likely voters in Iowa favor Trump to Harris 47-43, a gap of only four percentage points. This is a vast improvement from June when Trump had an 18 point lead over Biden, a lead that in three months has shrunk by almost 80 percent! |

It’s your dedication, your enthusiasm, and your contributions that have helped Iowa start the swing towards Harris. While the fight isn’t over, we know that if we continue the work we started, we will be able to elect some Democrats this November. So I’ll say this as a reminder:

Iowa Democrats need volunteers, people who love their state and want to see common sense returned to the halls of government. We have plenty of opportunities for people to help, from making calls, to writing letters, to joining our Voter Protection Team. If you’re interested in volunteering with the Iowa Democrats, click the link below. We need your help to narrow Harris’ gap even further. |

You can also help out IDP by organizing fellow voters on Reach. Reach is an app that helps bring people together, and makes contacting potential voters easier than ever before. If you’re interested in learning how to use Reach to rally Democrats across the state, you can save the link below to join a Zoom training class at… |

Thank you for everything you’ve done for this state, and this party. |

In 2022, over 90,000 Democrats that voted in 2018 stayed home. This year, we have to do better. That’s why we’ve been laying the groundwork for the last sixteen months and now we are rolling out our program, iowademocrats.org/planyourvote. |
Research has shown the best way to increase turnout is by helping voters make a plan to vote - asking questions about whether they will vote by mail, early in-person, or on Election Day, what time they’ll go vote, how they will get to their polling place, and making it clear we appreciate that they are a reliable voter. |

Iowa Senate Democrats: Public policy is not abstract. Real lives are affected. Abortion bans delay emergency medical care and women pay the ultimate price. |
Iowa Democratic Party: In March, Iowa House Republicans approved a bill that would have given personhood to embryos, threatening access to IVF.

Six months later, Republicans are still playing games with IVF. |
