Valerie Foushee for Congress

Hi John, let me catch you up to speed —

The North Carolina GOP and Republican National Committee have filed a new piece of litigation against the North Carolina State Board of Elections. They’re arguing that allowing UNC-Chapel Hill Students to use digital IDs at the ballot box will result in electoral fraud.

But, John, I’ll tell you what this lawsuit is really about: It’s a desperate attempt to turn a legitimate effort to increase voter participation and ballot box access into a sensationalized crisis.

My number one priority in Congress is ensuring I represent every single constituent of NC-04 with dignity and respect. But, this is impossible if the NCGOP is deliberately derailing voters’ access to the ballot box. Will you help me fight back against these attacks by pitching in $5 today?

When you block access to the ballot box, you directly inhibit democracy. The NCGOP’s attacks on digital ID use are a blatant act of voter suppression.

I won’t stand for the NCGOP’s heinous disregard for our nation’s values. We must remove barriers to access, and open the door for more voices to be heard. That’s the only way we will know true progress, John.

Defending my seat means defending democracy. Join me in standing up against voter suppression by pitching in $5 or any amount right now:
