Friend, I'll admit it -- in any other election cycle, I probably wouldn't be reaching out to issue a dire warning about the U.S. Senate race in Maryland.
But this isn't any other election cycle, and Republican Larry Hogan isn't just any other GOP opponent.
We need to pull out all the stops to defeat Larry Hogan and elect Angela Alsobrooks to the Senate, but we need to be clear-eyed about the challenge we face:
Larry Hogan and the far-right super PACs propping up his campaign pose a serious threat to our country. A Senate controlled by the GOP would block our progress and, worse, be a rubber stamp for the dangerous Project 2025 agenda if Donald Trump were to win the presidency.
That's why I'm asking for your help today, because we all have a stake in what happens in Maryland. Would you please consider donating $25 toward Angela's $50,000 mid-month fundraising goal so we can fend off a GOP takeover in the Senate?
Right now, polling shows that this critical battleground Senate race is tied, and we have weeks -- not months -- to boost Angela's message to help her take the lead down the home stretch.
Failure is not an option.
A GOP-controlled Senate would further restrict access to abortion, gut voting rights, and cut taxes for corporations and the ultra-wealthy, while working families foot the bill.
But if we can get Angela's Maryland-first message in front of enough voters, I'm confident that we'll be able to swing this deadlocked race in her favor, giving Democrats our best shot at defending our razor-thin majority in the Senate.
That starts by helping Angela and her team hit this critical $50,000 mid-month goal, and that's going to take you, me, and everybody else on this grassroots team.
Can I count on you to help me elect Angela Alsobrooks as the next U.S. senator from the great state of Maryland? If so, please chip in $25 right now to help win the race that will determine Senate control come November.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately and be split evenly between Chuck Schumer and Angela Alsobrooks:
Thank you,
