Hiiiiiii, it's Wylie! You probably know my mom, Congresswoman Deborah Ross. I have my serious face on today because I want to talk about something that's more important than my treats (not kidding!).

My mom just introduced the People and Animals Well-being (PAW) Act to broaden eligibility for veterinary care expenses, supporting my fellow dogs (and even cats)! I’ll admit, I let out a little whimper when I found out why this bill was needed…

Did you know that the cost of urban veterinary services reportedly surged by almost 60% in the last decade?? My animal friends and animal parents deserve to be able to affordably and comfortably live together.

My mom Deborah Ross is hard at work to fight for every single one of us, humans and animals alike. If we put our paws together, we can make sure she’s elected to another term to keep fighting for us. Will you make a donation of any amount to support her today? [[link removed]]

My mom said it best: β€œPets are more than just animals β€” they’re beloved members of families who bring joy, comfort, and even health benefits into our lives.”

I’m proud to have Deborah Ross as my mom. She fights every single day for fairness, equality and progress β€” the pillars that guide her daily.

But here’s the thing, she needs our help right now. With less than seven weeks until the big election, we don’t have a lot of time left. She tells me that North Carolina is a battleground for the future of this country.

For years, she's fought so hard for North Carolina, and now, she needs our help. Will you help her keep fighting for a brighter future and flip North Carolina blue by chipping in $ or more today? [[link removed]]

In 2020, Deborah became the first Democrat in over a decade to be elected to represent North Carolina’s 2nd Congressional district. In her first term, eleven pieces of legislation she introduced were signed into law. These measures increased funding for sexual assault nurse examiners, enhanced judicial ethics and transparency, and bolstered North Carolina’s offshore wind energy potential. Deborah needs your support to continue the fight for fairness, equality, and progress. Let’s do this together.
