Friend,
Bill Clinton made a claim at the Democratic National Convention that raised some eyebrows. The former President told delegates that “[s]ince the end of the Cold War in 1989, America has created about 51 million new jobs. I swear I checked this three times. Even I couldn’t believe it. What’s the score? Democrats 50, Republicans one.”
I couldn’t believe it either, so I checked out the numbers myself. So did others. And it’s true! Democrats created 50 of the 51 million jobs.

I knew, of course, that Democrats support pro-growth policies that create good-paying jobs. President Biden, for example, added 7.5 million jobs in 2022 and 2023. But the stark historical contrast in results between Democrat and Republican administrations is shocking nonetheless.
I’m going to keep this statistic handy next time one of my Republican friends claims that the GOP is the party of economic prosperity. The record is clear that voters who care about boosting the economy and creating more jobs ought to support Democrats up and down the ballot in November. To do otherwise would be the definition of insanity.
So, will you make a contribution that will help me get the word out? It’s easy for undecided voters to tune out political rhetoric, so we’re going to make sure they see numbers that they can’t ignore.
