Unfortunately, former President Donald Trump is already laying the groundwork for fraud claims if he loses the 2024 election.

In a recent rally in St. Cloud, Trump said he would only lose Minnesota "if they cheat."

But this isn’t just talk. It’s seemingly part of a larger strategy, highlighted in a recent article in The Guardian, to undermine trust in our election system long before a single vote is cast.

This is a direct threat to our democracy. By preemptively casting doubt on the election results, Trump is fanning the flames of disinformation and undermining the hard work of election officials here in Minnesota and across the country.
