It's been a year since the House passed the Climate Action Now Act in the first congressional vote on climate in a decade.

Unfortunately, Republicans in the Senate have obstructed the bill -- and others that would help address the climate crisis.

Meanwhile, President Trump has pulled our nation out of international agreements that could address the coming crisis, silenced climate scientists in his administration, and according to the National Task Force on Rule of Law & Democracy, committed "almost weekly violations of previously respected safeguards" meant to keep politics out of science.

In just the past few weeks, as the COVID-19 pandemic held the world's attention, President Trump's administration also used the moment to roll back fuel efficiency standards, reject new standards recommended to clean up dirty air, and stop enforcement on polluters. That's especially reckless as Americans struggle with an extremely contagious disease that attacks the lungs.

We need to put pressure on President Trump to show him there will be consequences for continuing to deny climate science. If we don't, our children and grandchildren will pay the price.

Tell President Trump: "Take action on climate change now!"
