Despite Senate Republicans loudly claiming to support IVF for months, nearly every single one of them voted against my Right to IVF Act that would actually protect access to it earlier this week.

These are the same Republicans led by Trump who, despite being the very reason IVF access is even under threat in the first place after he successfully overturned Roe v. Wade, is trying to convince people that he’s actually a “leader on fertilization.” But Trump and his minions don’t actually care about our families. As they proved this week, they might be happy to say the right words, but they’ll never take real action to support in-vitro fertilization.

While the outcome of this vote is disappointing, this isn’t over. I will never stop working in the Senate toward enshrining the protections of Roe v. Wade into law and ensuring that every American can decide for themselves when and how to start or grow their families.

But in order for us to do that, Democrats MUST hold onto the White House and our razor-thin majority in the Senate this November. With Election Day just a few weeks away, I need you with me to support my colleagues in tough races.

So please, will you chip in $5 to support our work defending our Senate majority and protecting reproductive freedom for all today?
