| Welcome to the newest edition of The Susie Lee Gazette! April was a busy month for our campaign, so we wanted to give you a quick recap with some highlights on what we’ve been up to in and around Nevada’s Third District. 🤳 #CensusSelfie 🤳 Susie celebrated Census Day with a #CensusSelfie! The census is incredibly important because it directly affects our community -- from the number of representatives Nevada will have to how many federal dollars come our way. The deadline for the Census has been extended until mid-August, so if you haven’t already, fill it out here! It only takes a few minutes and now you can do it online! Do your part, and while you’re at it, join Susie in spreading the word by sharing your very own #CensusSelfie! 
🔨 Conversation for Small Business 🔨 Rep. Lee joined Congressman Steve Horsford for a conversation moderated by Shaundell Newsome, chair of the Urban Chamber of Commerce with special guests Sonny Vinuya, President of the Las Vegas Asian Chamber of Commerce, and Peter Guzman, President of the Latin Chamber of Commerce. We discussed a wide range of topics that directly impact small businesses, including the need for increased testing so we can open our economy safely. You can check out the livestream by clicking here to watch it on Facebook! ⚕ Supporting Our Healthcare Workers ⚕ Susie stopped by Southern Hills Hospital & Medical Center to drop off some coffee and breakfast for our tireless healthcare heroes. Our community cannot thank these brave workers enough for stepping up during our time of need! We have to do our part to support them, and so please #StayHomeForNevada! 
👐 Lending A Helping Hand 👐 Susie has been busy doing all that she can to help our community get through these hard times. She donated used books to Spread The Word that will go to Nevada students, and she’s raised money for local organizations like Three Square, U.S. Vets - Las Vegas, the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, Spread the Word and Communities in Schools - Nevada -- all thanks to your help! 
💪 It Doesn’t Stop Here 💪 We had a busy April, but it’s only going to get busier from here. The election is creeping up, and we need to ramp up our efforts in order to ensure Susie wins in November and can keep giving us the compassionate and competent representation we deserve. Republican Super PACs aren’t holding back. They dedicated over $1 MILLION to help our right-wing opponents flip this seat red. We can’t let that happen.
