Good morning, John.

I wanted to give you an update about my campaign following an exciting couple of weeks, but click here if you want to donate and beat Ted Cruz!

We had a surge of support come through after my speech at the DNC, and after five polls showed us statistically tied, a brand-new poll released just yesterday shows me one point AHEAD of Ted Cruz!

But I won't lie to you. We need a lot of resources, and if we want to defeat an entrenched incumbent like Ted Cruz, we can’t afford to let up now.

The NRSC and right-wing super PACs are more laser-focused on this race than ever before. They just poured $28 million into attack ads against me out of fear that Cruz is extremely vulnerable.

To make sure we can push back on Cruz’s petty attacks and get in front of as many Texans as possible before November, I have to hit my $150,000 daily fundraising goal. Can you please chip in $5 or anything you can right now to keep our grassroots campaign going strong all the way to the end?

Unlike Ted, I'm running to protect the interests of ALL Texans, not special-interest groups. I’m running to defend our fundamental right to vote, increase access to affordable health care, and restore and protect freedom in Texas.

And if folks like you help power this campaign by chipping in whatever you can, whenever you can, I know we'll have what it takes to send Ted packing.

So please: Can you give $5 now to make sure we can retire Ted Cruz for good? Every dollar you give brings us closer to giving Texans a Senator who speaks for us in the Senate – not shady GOP mega donors.

Thank you for being a part of this movement.

Let's do this,
Colin Allred
