<[link removed]>U.S. Residents: Stop the Censorship Bill! <[link removed]>
Dear John,
Our fight for Palestinian liberation is more important than ever as Israel continues to expand its war to a global scale by interfering in other countries, manipulating governments, and neutralizing its critics and opponents. Exploding communication devices in Lebanon are its latest provocation of surrounding sovereign nations. Meanwhile, the U.S. and Britain are cracking down on anti-genocide activists and journalists with arrests, investigations, and criminal charges. Currently, the pro-Israel lobby is weaponizing U.S. politics by attempting to pass the Antisemitism Awareness Act (S.4127), which falsely characterizes criticism of Israel as antisemitism.Western governments are exhausting their efforts to suppress us, unaware that their actions only serve to fuel our movement.
👉 Global supporters: Demand the U.S. and Britain STOP the Repression of Journalists & Activists! <[link removed]>
👉 U.S. Residents: Send a Letter to Your Senator Opposing the Antisemitism Awareness Act (S.4127)! <[link removed]>
Framing S.4127 as a tool to combat antisemitism is a strategic move to criminalize legitimate criticism of Israel by labeling it as “hate speech,” thereby silencing activists and granting Israel even more power to commit genocide with impunity. The bill politicizes the definition of antisemitism for the U.S. and Israel’s political gain — undermining the effort to fight actual antisemitism in the U.S. and abroad.Â
👉 U.S. Residents: Act Fast Before S.4127 Passes in the Senate! Criticism of Israel is NOT a Crime! <[link removed]>
S.4127 is one example of the repression activists face as Israel, supported by Western governments like the U.S. and Britain, wages war against anyone daring to oppose its genocidal regime worldwide. The U.S. and Britain are silencing and prosecuting those who bravely stand against Israel’s genocide in Gaza, framing their advocacy as a “terror threat” to rationalize the bombing of innocent people in Palestine and neighboring countries. Earlier this week, Israel detonated explosives it had planted in communication devices in Lebanon, including pagers used in hospitals. The indiscriminate attack killed at least 37 people, including a 9-year-old girl, and wounded thousands more. Opposition to this violence is a moral obligation, not grounds to be deemed a terrorist or antisemite.Â
👉 Demand the U.S. and Britain Drop the Charges and Investigations Against Activists and Journalists Standing With Palestine! <[link removed]>
Our own governments seek to intimidate us into silence, just as Israel seeks to neutralize resistance in Palestine. This parallel is a testament to the unity of the Palestinian liberation movement globally. As Palestinians remain steadfast in defending our homeland, we must cradle them wherever we are and in every way possible. This means confronting Israel’s state-sanctioned violence, even if it comes with personal sacrifice. We refuse to be deterred. In fact, our movement grows every day. Our love for Palestine will never be extinguished!
