Texas Values 7th Annual Texas Faith, Family, and Freedom Forum allowed attendees the opportunity to hear directly from state and local representatives concerned with current issues impacting future generations and who are working towards preserving faith, family, and freedom in Texas and the country!

Texas State Board of Education Hears Long, Contentious Debate on Religious References in the Classroom |
The Texas Values policy team testified in June in support of materials that use the Biblical references to increase students’ reading comprehension and their understanding of history. However, since the meeting in June, a large group of left-leaning activists have campaigned against the English Language Arts materials because the materials reference the Bible, Christianity, and religion. The next meeting is November 19-22 when the SBOE will vote on their official list of recommendations. Read more about this issue on our blog. |

Some of the resources provided for expectant mothers include maternity and baby clothing, food, furniture, temporary shelter, medical resources, adoption resources, counseling and mentoring services, assistance with education and career decisions, as well as pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting classes. |
