I’ve spent more years in Washington than I care to admit.
You’d think I’d be used to it by now. But just when I think the News Media can’t sink any lower… they surprise me.
September 15th was a horrible day for our country. I thanked God Almighty for protecting President Trump a second time. I prayed hard for Trump’s Family and for our country that day. And every day since.
The Media, on the other hand, took a different tone.
Politico made sure to report “Republicans outraged” over it.
The Washington Post described it as a “golf course episode.”
MSNBC even had the gall to suggest Trump was to blame for not “toning down the rhetoric.”
I’m fuming. Our News Media has fallen so far from grace. It has NEVER been more clear their sole motive is to drag Conservatives through the mud and help Democrats win elections.
That’s why it’s incumbent on ALL OF US to stand up to them.
That’s also why I’m teaming up with Majority Leader Steve Scalise to raise one million dollars in the next 96 hours. By my assessment, that’s what it’ll take to help keep our ads on the airwaves, cut through the Media’s appalling coverage, and elect Conservatives up and down the ballot.
Look – I’ve made a lot of hay taking on the News Media over several decades (I even went viral for calling out a hostile CNN moderator on stage). But the Media is more partisan and shameless than it’s ever been before.
They despise President Trump, Republicans, and every last American who thinks like us.
If we rely on the News Media to tell the truth – and leave their own beliefs at the door – we might as well concede this election to the Democrats now.
That’s why we DESPERATELY need to get our own message in front of voters. We need to tell our own story of how we’ll save this country. So I have to ask: will you please send in a few bucks to help fund these critical efforts?
