John, it’s Barbra Streisand, and I want to share with you why I’m fully behind Jacky Rosen in Nevada’s must-win Senate race. If you’re with me, will you consider making a donation to her campaign right now?

Like Jacky, I have always been moved by the Jewish tradition of ‘Tikkun Olam,’ which means to leave the world better than how we found it. I truly believe that Jacky’s voice is the one we need in the Senate to better our country and our world. 

Right now, experts are predicting that Jacky’s race will likely decide Senate control. That means that the outcome of her election could decide whether someone in this country can have a safe abortion, get affordable prescription drugs, access the ballot box – or even whether we will have free and fair elections going forward.

But the last Senate race in Nevada was decided by just 7,928 votes – a margin of just 1% and the thinnest in the country. Now, polls show that this year’s election will be just as close. I know Jacky has what it takes to fight all the way down to the wire and win – but she can only do it if she has the resources she needs to fight back against the GOP.

That’s why I’m asking you: Will you please join me in supporting Jacky Rosen now by pitching in $5 or more to help her win in Nevada and continue fighting for a better world?

John, after the recent Supreme Court decision on presidential immunity, Donald Trump would be able to wield the power of the presidential office virtually unchecked if re-elected. The only thing that terrifies me more than that is the thought of him working with a GOP-controlled Senate. 

That’s why we cannot afford to let Jacky lose in Nevada – because losing in Nevada means losing the Senate. But Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump are doing everything in their power to prop up Jacky’s extreme GOP opponent – and dark money groups like the Koch network are pouring millions into Nevada to defeat her.
