Friend, here are the three things you need to know as the election is in full swing:

1. Once again, Senate control is at stake, and with election pundits calling this year's election map "brutal" for Democrats, we're facing nothing short of an uphill battle.

2. Far-right lawmakers in every level of our government are going after our most fundamental rights. Even the Supreme Court – initially created to uphold our Constitution – isn't exempt from the spread of far-right extremism.

3. I'm working day and night to help defend our razor-thin Senate majority, but right now, our fundraising numbers are way short of what we need to raise before our FEC filing deadline at the end of the month.

So I'm humbly asking, with the very fate of our democracy and our fight for progress on the line: Will you donate before midnight tonight to help me defend New Mexico and the Senate from far-right extremism?
