Friend --
I wanted to take a moment and thank you for your incredible support in the month of April. We’re all facing new and trying challenges, but your commitment to this campaign sends an important message that this team understands the stakes in this race.
I also wanted to update you on the work we’ve done on behalf of my district and working families across the country.
This month I have:
⇒ Introduced bipartisan legislation to make states and local governments eligible for emergency tax credits for Paid Sick Leave. With local governments suffering, these tax credits will help free up resources due the increased need around COVID-19.
⇒ Successfully advocated for $30 billion in additional PPP funding for Community Development Financial Institutions. CDFIs provide important financial assistance to small businesses in rural areas like my district. It’s crucial that they have resources in this time of need.
⇒ Successfully advocated for $19 billion in assistance to support farmers and ranchers during the COVID-19. I represent the largest ag district in California, and remain committed to serving our farmers and ranchers during this difficult time.
This work is, of course, thanks to your continued support and input. I will keep you up to date on our progress, but in the meantime please know that I’m so thankful to have you on this team.

A note about contributions: TJ Cox is rejecting all corporate PAC donations, and it was support from individual donors like you who helped TJ flip CA-21 from red to blue in 2018. We know this is a difficult time. Take care of yourself and your loved ones, and only consider contributing to our campaign if you can afford to do so. |
