John,
Should a political party (Democrats) that refuses to secure our borders
make decisions that affect the Second Amendment? Can the Democrats be
trusted with your safety when Washington cannot guarantee the safety of the
nation’s most high-profile prisoner (Epstein)?
These are a few common-sense questions citizens should ask before
allowing Congress to water down any of our God-given rights. As history has
proven time and again, once a liberty is gone it's difficult to regain
According to Fox News, House Republicans proposed an amendment to H.R. 8
(The Bipartisan Background Checks Act of 2019) that requires law
enforcement to be notified "when an individual attempting to purchase a
firearm fails a federal background check." The proposed amendment would
notify ICE if an illegal alien tries to purchase a firearm. Of course,
Democrats opposed the amendment. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) tweeted: "Democrats in
the Judiciary Committee just voted against notifying ICE when an illegal
alien fails a background check to buy a gun. They hate ICE so much that
they'd keep ICE in the dark when illegals try to get guns!"
So the
Democrats — the party of gun
control — don't want YOU to have guns, but
illegals can.
Arizonans, these freedoms afforded to us by the Constitution should not be
taken for granted. John Adams said it best: “Liberty once lost is lost
forever.” The right to self defense should be cherished most.
Democrats who allow millions of non-citizens to cross the
border—including hardened criminals—while simultaneously pushing "gun
control" on citizens but not illegals are dangerous and insincere. Before
you accept the talking point, "no one needs an AR-15," carefully consider
Hong Kong or Venezuela.
