Collective action is central to our work at MCV. The challenges we face are too big for us to solve alone, but together we are unstoppable.
Hard fought environmental wins takes collaborative education, lobbying, and grassroots efforts. Alongside our allies this year, we have: -
Set the course for a responsible and equitable renewable energy system in Maine, such as offshore wind and solar;
- Ensured that Mainers can vote on a trail bond this November that, if approved, will repair and improve critical trails across the state;
- Moved the country closer to a more representative democracy with the passage of a bill in Maine that supports a National Popular Vote; and
-
Continued the effort to ensure tribal sovereignty is achieved in Maine.
