John,
I’ve seen a lot of sore losers after an election, but we’re now facing what looks like a sore loser before an election.
When Donald Trump was in St. Cloud recently, he claimed he would only lose Minnesota "if they cheat."
This kind of rhetoric is exactly what The Guardian recently highlighted when it said that the former president and his allies are laying the groundwork to claim fraud if he loses the election.
It’s okay to demand election integrity.
It’s okay to criticize the election system.
But it’s dangerous to suggest in advance that defeat, if it comes, will be the product of a criminal scheme.
With less than two months to the election, we need to raise another $10,000 to continue to push back against these dangerous claims and ensure every Minnesotan can trust the process. Will you chip in $10 or more to help us stand up for election integrity?

As your Secretary of State, I am deeply concerned about the harm this could do to public trust in our elections. Minnesota’s election system is one of the most secure and transparent in the country, and I’m committed to ensuring it stays that way.
But we’re up against a growing tide of disinformation, and we need your help to fight back.
Our last quarterly fundraising deadline before the election is September 30th. It’s critical we have the resources to fight disinformation now. Will you please help us raise another $10k this week to help us hit our end-of-quarter fundraising goal?
Thank you for standing with us in defense of the truth and our democracy.
Steve
